Satellite Master Antenna Television (SMATV) System
System description : SMATV system known as Satellite Master Antenna Television refers to a system that transmitting multiple satellite (satellite dish) signal, broadcast (AM/FM & VHF/UHF TV antenna) signal, video signals, audio signals and decoder signals through a single integrated cable (Fiber Optic or Coaxial cable) and distribute to all the dedicated indoor units.
System Operation flow : These satellite dish and antennas are connected to specific electronic equipment (headend) which tunes into specific channels based on the setting of local transmitting tower, then will combine them into a single cable signal and distribute to all indoor unit in a balance and stable signal level.
System application location : High rise residential building, hotels, shopping malls, schools, hospitals and commercial properties with multiple tenants.
System description : Intercom system known as a stand-alone audio/video communications system which is generally mounted permanently in buildings. The traditional intercom system is connecting with one or few pairs (4-6 pairs) of PVC/Telephone cable. The latest generations are even compatible with computers and some models include TCP/IP which will connect to the same structured cabling system (local area network which known as LAN commonly).
System Operation flow :
1) Master Station or Guard Station – normally used by security guard or management office to initiate a call with any of the stations and make announcements over the whole system.
2) Sub-station – normally used by tenant or resident and only capable of initiating a call with the Master Station but not capable of initiating calls with any other stations (sometimes called slave units). The latest digital model had enable the feature of initiating calls with other slave stations.
3) Door Station – normally used by visitor and only capable of initiating a call to a Master Station. They are typically weather-proof.
System application location : terrace, semi-detached, bungalow unit, office, carpark, high-rise residential building, hotel, hospital, factory and etc.
System application location : Fireman intercom system refer to a two way audio communication system which plays a main role during emergency.
System Operation flow : It allows victim in emergency to communicate with the master station at the Fire Command Centre through the remote telephone handsets (victim just need to break the glass cover and lift up the handset, then will call to master station) which normally located at staircase area within the building.
System application location : High rise residential building, hotel, shopping mall and high rise commercial property with multiple tenants.
System application location : Public Address System known as PA System is an electronic sound amplification and distribution system with a microphone, music source player, amplifier, zone selector, and loudspeakers, used to allow announcements and music broadcast to a movement at large and noisy air and rail terminals or at a sports stadium.
System Operation flow : normally used by management to broadcast back ground music at public area.Management or receptionist can use it to broadcast announcement to assist victim in emergency. And fire department can use it to broadcast emergency evacuation announcement during fire or serious emergency situation.
System application location : small venues such as school auditoriums, churches, small bars, and widely used to make announcements & emergency evacuation in public, institutional and commercial buildings and locations, such as schools, stadiums and large passenger vessels and aircraft.
IP Based ELV
System description : IP Based ELV known as Internet Protocol based Extra Low Voltage Systems refer to a combination of all the new modern technologies in every building (such as data network, CCTV, fire alarm systems, public address systems, audio/video solutions, access control, intrusion detection systems, home automation, ICT, SMATV, PA, Fireman intercom and etc.) which customized and integrate to the same structured cabling system (local area network which known as LAN commonly), and the same Internet Protocol (IP) network to meet the need of the building industry.
System Operation flow : all the data and signal of the IP based ELV systems will flow through the connected LAN and communicate between its dedicated equipment. The data even flow through between the integrated ELV systems and providing a more functionalities and features solution.
System application location : all commercial and residential building.
